AMBASSADOR'S PROFILE
Her Excellency Mrs. Emma Mensah is the Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana to Senegal with concurrent accreditation to The Gambia and Cabo Verde. She formally assumed duty on 13th October, 2022 following presentation of her Letters of Credence to His Excellency President Macky Sall.
Ambassador Mensah is a Career Diplomat with over twenty-eight (28) years of experience in the Foreign and Public Services of Ghana.
In the course of her career, Ambassador Mensah served in various capacities in the Foreign Ministry including, Director of the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), Deputy Director, Policy Planning Monitoring and Evaluation Bureau (PPMEB), Deputy Director, Multilateral Relations Bureau and Assistant Director, Economic, Trade and Investment Bureau (ECTIB). She also held diverse positions in Ghana Missions in Copenhagen, Moscow, Rabat and Ankara.
The Ambassador holds a Master of Arts Degree in International Affairs from the Legon Centre for International Affairs and Diplomacy (LECIAD), University of Ghana and a Post Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from The Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
