Ghana to Host Diaspora Summit 2025 on Global African Solidarity and Reparative Justice

The Diaspora Summit 2025, organized under the auspices of H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, the Diaspora Affairs Office, Office of the President, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is scheduled to be held from 19th to 20th December, 2025 at the Accra International Conference Centre (AICC), under the theme: “Resetting Ghana: The Diaspora as the 17th Region”. This year’s event will provide participants the exclusive opportunity to create sustainable networks, share experiences, as well as contribute constructively to deliberations that will shape and enhance the future of Ghana’s diaspora engagements. The Diaspora Summit 2025 will bring together Heads of States, Ghanaians in the diaspora, government officials, development partners, private sector leaders and key stakeholders among others. The Diaspora Affairs Office extends an invitation to the Ghanaian Diaspora, as well as People of African Descent and friends of Ghana to join this transformative experience.
