The Minister for Foreign Affairs, Honourable Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa led a three-member delegation to represent H.E John Dramani Mahama at the 50th Independence Anniversary celebration of Cabo Verde. The Honourable Minister who arrived in Praia, the capital city of Cabo Verde on 4th July, 2025 was met on arrival by the host authorities as well as the officers from the Dakar Mission .The auspicious event was graced by the presence of many high-level personalities including the Heads of State of Portugal H.E. Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, H.E. Guinea-Bissau, H.E Sissoco Embaló, H.E. Diomaye Faye of Senegal, and HRH Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg.
